Seasonal boxes
Seasonal boxes
themed boxes at Telge Park.
Now that Christmas is near. Is there one place out there that has
mostly December themed boxes to search for? I've tried to find some,
but hadn't had much luck.
That could be a project to add to our to list.
As if the holiday season wasn't busy enough.

Re: [gulfcoastletterboxers] Seasonal boxes
Personally, I'm going to try and do a holiday series this year again.
Last year I did Holiday Lights at Memorial Park, that included a lot of the winter holidays. I have a different project in mind for this year, but haven't had enough carving time recently.
I really like how Telge turned out--it's a great a group project because it's fun to be the planter and the finder. And it keeps growing over the years...so there's always a reason to go back!

I really enjoy around October my family and I can hunt for Halloween
themed boxes at Telge Park.

I think Kleb Woods perhaps, with its German Christmas theme, might be a great spot for some holiday boxes. But, I'm open to suggestions. Lake Houston might be a good spot too.

There isn't such a place in our area...why don't we start one? Suggestions for parks, anyone? I just received 3 sheets of PZ in the mail, and I'm itching to carve up some fun! I personally have not been there yet. But, I was already planning on
going to search out the boxes there for the Thanksgiving weekend. My
mom lives in Waller/Hempstead area which is fairly close to this
park. I will get started right away so I can have a couple to plant
while I'm there.
This is going to be great!!!

Re: Seasonal boxes
Burroughs Park. I'm thinking the Pilgrims are getting lonely
there... hint, hint.

Re: Seasonal boxes
I have a hand-turkey stamp I created for a postal last year. I really
should put it out in the wild for Thanksgiving.
So many carved stamps, not enough time!
